Usually 2 fruits, 1 vegetable and 1 green leafy vegetable is fed per day with the amount varying on the size and species of the bird. With this we also give 1 Arrowroot biscuit per pair.
Note: All birds differ in their eating habits so adjust your feeding routine according to what your birds eat.

WHAT WE FEED - PARROTS
All the parrots from the 28's down to the Neophemas are fed on a small parrot mix which is supplemented by fruit and vegetables, along with small amounts of grit/charcoal and calcium bells. I personally don't use soaked or sprouted seed but overcome this by feeding green seeding heads that grow around our 3 acre property during breeding season (summer/spring).

All the parrots are also given an Arrowroot biscuit with their fruit and vegetables.
WATER
All water supplied to the birds is clean water that is run through a filter system then an ultra violet water purifier and is replaced daily, with the lorikeets requiring additional top ups throughout the day as they love to bath.
All water containers are large coop cups that hang off the front wire of the aviaries and are big enough for birds to bath in if required.
